I'm hoping to stop by the thrift store this week and pick up more napkins and see if I can write up a tutorial.
Lastly, I finished my See and Sew dress, which I'm naming the Tres Marias Dress after The House of the Spirits. I modified the pattern substantially--it's tight where needed but still a bit baggy around the waist. Honestly, I don't mind that because it means I can sit and enjoy a meal without feeling like my belly will burst the seams. Now I just need some sunny weather and a date night.

Is anyone else freaking out about losing Picnik?
I don't have photoshop and I hate launching GIMP every time I want to do something simple like rotate/crop a photo. I have consistently had problems with my photos' orientation, and I hate that photo rotation isn't a feature of Picasa web albums. Can anyone tell me why that is? As far as I know, both flickr and Photobucket let you rotate.
What's weird is that the past few times I have gone into Picnik, my photos are oriented correctly there, though not in my albums or on my blog...so I rotate them 360 degrees just to be sure they show up on the blog correctly. But I just dread to think of how tedious it will be to simply rotate a photo once Picnik is gone. It's already annoying, and I hate duplicating uploads.
Anyone find a solution that works for them? I'm not super tech savvy, so I may be overlooking the simple answer.

Cutest little clutch ever!

Thanks Alex! What did you think of the book? It's unlike anything I've ever read!
Deleteclutch is awesome! you are so creative. i've never used picnik. i used iphoto and adobe illustrator. photoshop takes forever to load. i have a flickr account but just for storing pre-altered photos.
