It still feels nothing like autumn outside, but inside our apartment it is starting to feel a bit cozier. And it's a good thing, because I'm at home feeling pretty sick today.
Earlier this week I made an autumn garland and some pumpkin spice muffins. I also picked up some pumpkin scented candles and fall-themed beers.
Last weekend we went to a vampire ball and then the pumpkin patch with The Literary Foodie. We carved pumpkins and watched Cujo, which I had never seen before.
So I'd say we're doing pretty well on autumn traditions. I'm still dying for some cold weather, but I know it will come eventually.

Hey- hey! I love the new blog header with all of your flowers. So cute.
ReplyDeleteI second the last post! I am in the same state you are, trying to embrace as much of fall as I can. Had fun last weekend with you, can't wait to see what this one will bring. At least yesterday felt like it was supposed to, sort of. I hope we can find time to go to Tahoe to actually see some leaves changing, but I don't know if we will have the time.
ReplyDeleteI love Autumn :) I'm so sad October is almost over - I feel like it'll be a frigid mess here in Utah any day now!
ReplyDeleteI rewatched Cujo for the first time in years and years the other night - just as un-scary as I remembered it - even when dripping with blood and what looks like egg yolks, he's still just too cute for me!
Thanks Courtney! I've been meaning to revamp the blog for a while now.
ReplyDeleteJessica, it's getting there. I can feel it, but this weekend is supposed to be 80 again. Yuck!
And Caroline, I have to agree with you. That St Bernard manages to look cute through all the gunk they put on him. It was fun watching it, though, and I could see how it might be scary to a very young child.
